An update sent to IPA from the Iowa Department of Public Health on 12/11/09:

Following conversations with local public health The Iowa Department of Public Health is opening Influenza A (H1N1) Monovalent Vaccine to the general public effective December 14, 2009.   All Iowa Providers may use available Influenza A (H1N1) Vaccine for any individual wishing to receive this vaccine in addition to the Initial Target Group and Subset of Target Groups listed on the 2009 Influenza A (H1N1) Monovalent Vaccine Recommendations.
